Founded by Thomas Hong in August 2019, Vegky was born out of his desire to become vegan since his college days. Not only does Vegky provide delicious snacks for vegans and vegetarians, but they also prioritize sustainability and reducing food waste. By repurposing the discarded stems of shiitake mushrooms into jerky, they contribute to decreasing food waste and carbon emissions. Additionally, their sustainably grown mushrooms require less water and land compared to beef jerky production. Vegky's products are 100% vegan, high in fiber, non-GMO, and have a low carbon footprint.
