Pokémoto is a poke bowl company that was founded by Thomas Nguyen in New Haven, CT in 2017. While living in Hawaii, Thomas discovered and fell in love with traditional Hawaiian poké. He saw an opportunity to bring this delicious cuisine to the New England market and opened the first Pokémoto shop across from Yale University. The gamble paid off, and Pokémoto became a success.

Poké is a native Hawaiian dish made up of diced fresh fish served as an appetizer or main course. Pokémoto offers a modern twist on poké by including options like chicken, tofu, shrimp, or salmon with influences from Japanese and Korean cuisine. Customers can customize their bowls, salads, or wraps with their favorite proteins, mix-ins, toppings, and sauces.
